UP AHEAD (poetry)

 Wisdom of the Holy One
 Maker of heaven and earth
His thoughts are high above our own
And He can see our worth

He made us in His image, yes
 To be His family
To know Him in all spirit and truth
To open our eyes to see

The evil of the world came forth
To steal what God had made
He tricked us in the garden
But God knew just how to save

 The end from the beginning
Is how our God does see
Even though He knows our faults
He sees what we can be

He sent His son to show His love
 To legally set us free
His blood upon the alter seat
 Perfect sacrifice was He

Such are the wondrous ways of God
There’s so much more to know
As we look into His Word
And seek His truth to grow

To be in Him and Him in us
 A temple for the Lord
Can’t wrap our minds around it
Just have to trust His word

Once we come of age in life
 All of us have sinned
It made inside our hearts go dark
So we need to be born again

When we accept what Jesus did
He makes in us all things new
Our heart it changes deep inside
Then His Spirit can dwell in you

Then oh the journey we can have
As our Father grows us up
He loves to reveal the secret things
And to joyfully fill our cup

He will also teach us to be
 A warrior in the earth
 Overcoming darkness
That’s fought us from our birth

Then one day we all will rest
 In heaven we will be
 Our Father is a Creator
 What beauty we will see

 We each have a destiny
 That in His heart conceived
 Nothing will make us happier
Than to be what we were made to be

 So now we must anticipate
 Our eyes kept up ahead
As this age comes to an end
And Jesus will crush Satan’s head

Listen till the end!! This is good stuff!!! It gets even better as it goes……

I know many of us are worried about the coming election.  But I want to share something with you.   On Saturday, September 26th,  we went to Washington D. C.  To join a Day of Prayer and Repentance called “The Return” with Johnathan Cahn coordinating it.

It was just that.  Around 75,000 people stood and knelt on the ground weeping and repenting for the sins of the nation ,  listing many of them one by one.  Yes it took hours.  And it was awesome and so right.  The unity of the body of Christ and the Presence of God among us was palpable.

It went from 9a.m. to 9p.m.  and it was not tiring at all, but life giving.  You could feel it.  This is what God has wanted us to do for a long time.  Another group was simultaneously doing a prayer walk around D.C. with Franklin Graham.   When it was over – I wondered.  Was this enough?  To stay the hand of judgement and procure from God’s hand a little more time to turn this nation around?  It would have only taken 10 righteous for God to spare Sodom and Gomorrah. (Genesis 18).  Was this enough for a nation of 330 million?

Then a month later another group of mainly young people filled the national Mall again and worshipped and prayed for four hours and then walked all around praying and worshipping at different sites in D.C.   And we saw a victory with a pro life supreme court justice sworn in the next day.  That gives me hope.

Now another group of believers will gather and pray at the end of October.  People have been traveling from all over the United States to join in these gatherings.  And there were over 12 million joining online for ‘The Return”. Plus millions around the world joining  in livestream and praying for America.

Only God knows what He will do.  But for the first time in a long time,  I have hope that God may grant us more time for revival if we will continue and not stop after the election.  The church is out of the building and in part we need to keep it that way and not retreat into a mindset of  four walls and only individual programs.

There needs to be unifying events like these.  A Body of Christ that will rise up and fight against the darkness and lawlessness of the age.  A Body that will pray and fast and seek His face until a great awakening and harvest of souls comes full throttle into our land.

It was so beautiful to be with believers of all walks of life.  The unity of purpose was incredible.  It felt like we were experiencing the answer to Jesus prayer in John 17:22.  when He prayed that we would be “one” as they are “One”.   I saw Amish, Baptist, Messianics, Pentecostals, and probably most denominations were represented among us.  All that was secondary – we were there for Jesus.  To do His will.  To cry out for our nation.

I pray it continues and grows.  May God bless this land of ours and a harvest of souls come into the kingdom of God!

Good morning brothers and sisters in Christ. In prayer this morning I felt the Lord putting it on my heart to challenge us All to pray over the next few days/weeks, pray for everyone you have ever known or met, starting with your family line. Pray that God would open the eyes of their understanding , that they would accept Jesus as their Lord and that all would get right with Him…..All. Just lay in bed at night and allow the Holy Spirit to bring people to mind. Then pray for them. Our prayers are powerful, not because of us, but because of WHO we are praying to. Give your love and time to call each ones name out to God. He wants to do a mighty work! ” Not by (our) might, not by power, but by my Spirit says the Lord”. Revival happens by the breath of His Spirit and we are all invited to participate!! Again give your sweetest love to someone by lifting their name before God. You will be blessed too! I hope you will join in. 💝. Your sister in Christ, Jean

Unique

March 4, 2018

As we walk down this road called life, it’s important to remember that we are unique. God created us each with something in mind unlike any other. Sure we are alike in our humanity, but not in destiny. We may even be similar, but not exact. Our experiences, values and mindsets are different. Even where we grew up, our home and childhood surroundings set us apart and add to who we are. Remind yourself. “I am unique” and never let culture of societal expectations define you. You are a child made by God, to be you. His plans for you will not be exactly like another and that is a beautiful thing. We are each threads in a tapestry, God’s tapestry, and while we are part of a bigger picture, we remain individually unique.

MORNING WORD

November 10, 2017

“Don’t be afraid to allow God to turn up the heat in your life to bring about the change He needs to move you forward into His plan for you.  Stay at His feet, embrace the heat, and let Him have His way. His ways are always for our benefit and He loves for us to grow and not stagnate. You have a destiny.”

Well I run to who You are
Then I’ll know who I am
In the arms of my Savior
I am free

For You are my looking glass
I’m created in Your mold
Someone ancient
Someone meant to be

From the womb I’ve been called
To Your purpose I’ve been hauled
Oh Lord, what plans have You for me?

As I stop to wonder on
At the power of Your son
And to think that Your son He lives in me

As You taught me from a babe
I was born to be Your slave
Sent to serve the very man that You have made

I will not seek my own
I will seek to serve Your throne
And then everything else will follow me

As I run to who You are
Then I’ll know who I am
In the arms of my Savior I am free

I am free, I am free

Destiny – Poetry

July 20, 2017

I know You can see
The things that no one else can see
Things You’ve placed inside of me
Seems impossibility

But not in Your hands, But not in Your hands

Can you hear your Maker
Calling out your name
Can you feel the hand of the Potter
Carving out your life

Calling out your name,  Calling out your name

Don’t you know you have a destiny
You were born for such a time as this
Don’t run away in fear now
This is your finest hour

Destiny, destiny
What you’re meant to be
Heed the call
Destiny, destiny
Oh rise up dear one and give it your all
