Heaven Will Be Undivided

It is important to see things through the eyes of God, which can totally be found in the scripture if we read it for ourselves and ask His help to understand it.  Everything happening today was foretold by God.  Thousands of years in advance.  Because “ He knows the end from the beginning.”  He dwells outside of time.  That’s why it is so foolish for man to seek “mediums” and horoscopes and such to find “wisdom”  when God is Wisdom Himself.  He made everything and knows what it’s purpose is, and when it will come to an end.

The beauty is – that He has offered us through accepting what Jesus Christ did on the cross and accepting Him as our Lord – we are offered the promise of living in His kingdom – forever – where there are no more tears, pain, sorrow…..heaven.  And in the here and now – we will never be alone.  He will never leave us or forsake us.  We have good promises to stand on.  Having faith is believing what He said – no matter what you see.

God will protect us in this crazy time or take us home to His house at our appointed time.

As for where we are now…..it’s all in the Book.  Don’t be afraid to look.  

God will arise to judge the earth – but if we are in Him, in Christ – it will be okay for us.

Here is an interesting scripture about God “shaking” the earth.  For us – it is so our reliance will be on Him.  But for the world and the enemy of humanity, the devil, Satan.  He gets his way for only a moment in time – and people decide who their allegiance will be to.  Then for Satan and all those that have chosen to follow his ways……it will end…..and not well.  Choose life.  God rules heaven and earth and yes, we will have to live by His ways…..because a kingdom divided against itself cannot stand.  And heaven is undivided.  

Isaiah 2:17-22

 

The arrogance of man will be brought low

and human pride humbled;

the Lord alone will be exalted in that day,

and the idols will totally disappear.

 

People will flee to caves in the rocks

and to holes in the ground

from the fearful presence of the Lord

and the splendor of his majesty,

when he rises to shake the earth.

 

In that day people will throw away

to the moles and bats

WHEN GOD BUSTS OUT IN THE MOST UNUSUAL PLACES

Sometimes you just never know when God is gonna just break out somewhere.  You’ve been there – when you suddenly feel God is in the place.  

Well I was sitting in a small room with about 10 other people at the cardiologist office waiting for a stress test. (to see if the ticker is working right)

Not something I looked forward to and besides that why in the world did they say it would take four hours. And what’s with the “nuclear” part of the test?

I was  uneasy in the way that you are when there are a lot of unknowns.  I noticed that most everyone was looking at their phones or magazine with only minimal conversation between people and the ones that came with them.   Then I asked a lady what the test was like.  She was older, but I could tell she brightened up at the opportunity to share some wisdom.  She walked me through it and a few others chimed in with their additions to the knowledge I was getting.  It was sweet!  

All of the sudden, everyone in the room started talking to others.  At times the whole room was participating in one group conversation.  A far cry from the isolationist feel it had when I walked in.  I could feel the Holy Spirit moving.  I love it when He shows up outside of church and does a suddenly.

One of the ladies began to share her heart about having had several heart attacks and possibly cancer.  The weight and burden on her face made me want to cry.  I knew that God wanted to lift her burden, especially her.  

So most of the room cleared out and I began to tell her of my near death experience as a teenager.  I saw heaven and was describing what I saw.  I could see a familiar peace come on her.  I knew that she already knew the Lord, but she leaned in towards me as if to soak up the words of truth.  A reminder of what she already knew in part.  I pulled out a Closer cd that I had made a decade ago and gave it to her and she was excited.  Her countenance changed and her mother began to talk about a revival she had been to in her past.  It was an easy conversation, and you could almost see how much lighter the room was as well as these “family” members in the body of Christ.  I got called out for the test and wish I could have prayed with her – but she got something better I think. She remembered to Whom she belonged.

I don’t know.  I just love when that happens.  I know prayer helps them happen – but sometimes God just busts out!!!  I can’t wait till the next time and I think I will ask for more!  How about you!?

So sorry for the days
When I would run away
I need You, I need You

Forget about my past
And make me free at last
I need You, I need You

And I need to jump into the wind
I need to trust the arms I’m in

Never so confused
I feel I’m being used
Lord, keep me,
Lord, keep me

I know I cannot see
The plans you have for me
Lord, lead me
Lord, lead me

There was a time when I thought
That life was so secure
There was a time that I thought
That I was clean and pure

I need A Savior now I know
No matter how far and wide I grow
I need to stay at Jesus feet
I need to confess to all I need

Time to take a risk
My purpose not to miss
Please guide me
Lord guide me

The time is drawing near
For You to reappear
Make me ready
Make me ready

I need to jump into the wind
I need to trust the arms I’m in
I need a Savior now I know
No matter how far and wide I grow

Overcome the obstacles
Sweep the dust off the rug
We must keep pressing forward
By the power of His blood

So easy to lay down
But you’re important don’t you know
God made you as you are
And you have something to show

Continue as a Lighthouse
Sitting high upon a hill
Giving warning to the ships
That are speeding towards such peril

Time is such a precious thing
Not something we can waste
Can’t lick our wounds forever
Get up now and set the pace

Jump into the river
There’s surprises ‘round the bend
You’ll be glad you kept on moving
As the Light opens again

1 Timothy ” Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men,
for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,”

I pray that many good people will rise up and get involved in politics, civic activities, school boards, academia, arts and film….  on and on.  A Christian’s place is not just in the 4 walls of a church….we need to be in places of influence…..forces for good!    God bless you and God bless America!

PATH FOR THE HUMBLE – Poetry

There is a ditch on the side of the road
And one on the other side too
Neither one is a good place to be
But most people have not a clue

The nature of blindness is nobody sees
The error of their own chosen way
To only the humble, can it be revealed
To hear the Lords straightening voice say

He can see clearly from way up above
The path for each one of us
He knows the way, for all things He’s made
His Word is a map we can trust

The map must be read through eyes of His love
The Master we must know
Only in this way can we hope to see
The path made for us best to go

LEARNING TO WAIT – Poetry

Learning to wait
Learning to see
Watching for You Lord
To know how things should be

Former years spent running ahead
Without waiting to know what You’ve said
Hitting the wall time and again
Learning the hard way there’s no way to win

Success on our own is empty at best
Following Your path, alone gives you rest
Waiting, waiting actively so
By sitting quietly until Your voice I know

When I follow myself
It never works out
Without having Your vantage point
Always take the wrong route

Learning to wait
Learning to see
Watching for You Lord
To know how things should be

TUG OF WAR

Oh Lover of my soul I cry
I need you closely standing by
Raging chaos can be found
Just by rising, feet on the ground

In my sleep the comforts reign
I can hear You call my name
Beckoning me to come to You
Such desire to see me through

Such confusion waits to pounce
On my soul to pull me out
Of the place abiding there
Where peace surrounds me, loving care

Light and darkness, always war
Try to hurt me to the core
But You teach me to return
To overcome, Your ways to learn

You hate my enemies oh Lord
You teach me how to pick up the sword
Sword of truth declaring loud
Tearing down deceptions shroud

Jealous is our enemy

Across the starry night He calls
Laying out myriads of bright glowing balls
Singing His story the birds make their way
Flying in glory if only to say

Hello I love you
Can you hear Me call
I made all this for you
I gave you My all

Fields of bright flowers colored array
Bright sunshine’s dew drop painting the day
Smells so desirous catching your breath
Hoping you’ll look up and know I’ve not left

Cuddly fur balls of all different size
For you to enjoy and to tickle your eyes
Loving affection creation does show
I so want to show you all I do know

Hello I love you
Can you hear Me call

Saving the best, I sent you My Son
To show you my heartbeat, He and I are One
