Don’t believe the little lie
That says you’re nothing more
Than all the sum of your mistakes
That landed at your shore

The tide rolls in , the tide rolls out
And hope just disappears
Emotions seem to swallow us
The same thing year after year

But don’t you know this very thing
The Lord God gave you wings
They’re hidden by the cloudiness
The lies the enemy brings

He gave you wings to lift you up
To rise above the lies
The kingdom of God is there for you
By faith if you will try

To move your eyes toward what He said
The path that He has laid
He’s planted hidden treasures
For you to be arrayed

Dressed in robes of righteousness
Provided by His Son
He waits for you to call to Him
The battle He has won

He waits for us to choose Him
That’s how it must be done
And when you do the cloud will lift
When you can see His son

Hope will arise as you seek Him out
He will not disappoint
He is alive this you will see
Your head He will anoint

This life is where we choose the path
That we will walk upon
God is a loving Father
Our perceptions have been wrong

Like I said the father of lies
Satan is his name
Has followed you since you were born
To distract you is his game

But deadly is the game he plays
Our eyes must choose to see
Listen to the words of God
That lead us to be free

Open up and talk to Him
He’s waiting for your call
Try a little faith and then
A little light will fall

He’s known you from the beginning
You were the thought in His heart
Though you may see another thing
Like a caterpillar from the start

Your cocoon is inside of Him
If you will choose to trust
When you come forth and His plan is done
You are a piece of art

Will you trust a little bit
A tiny little ray
Let that hope turn heavenward
For You there’s a brand new day

Dare to try, please think it through
What have you to lose
Lift up your eyes beyond the clouds
He’s waiting for you to choose.

REMEMBRANCE (poetry)

March 26, 2021

In my deepest darkest sin
You looked at me with mercy
You looked into my heart
And saw what I could be

In the place of such humanity
Patiently you waited for me
You gave me an acceptance
Until I was ready to see

You throw away all remembrance
Of the sins I did commit
But you kept a Book of memories
Of the times when my candle was lit

You remember all the bright times
Ones I did probably forget
Times when you saw my struggle
To do the things you had said

Oh remember my dear Savior
I remember too
How sweet you were in the morning
Like the smell of fresh morning dew

Like the desert after the rain
When my time of trial came to an end
You were always growing me up
And You have always been my best Friend

I can hear You rejoicing
When I got the victory
Choosing to walk in righteous ways
From the devils grip getting free

I can see you dancing
The day that I almost gave up
But you allowed me to re-commit
And again You filled up my cup

How it has been such a journey
I can’t wait to look back with You
To see things how you saw them
All the ways that You brought me through

I can hardly wait until heaven
It can’t come too fast
Replace the pain with so much joy
Eternal peace at last

SHARING MY HEART

March 22, 2021

Good stuff…destined to be here, destined to overcome

End Time Prophesy

SHARING MY HEART Good morning! This is something I feel compelled to write, so I pray you will read until the end and just ponder and pray about it. God has put such a deep concern in my heart for everyone to be ready, walking with God and to be safe in the days to come. Not to scare but to prepare. So consider this question. What if there was a pole shift let’s say tomorrow or next week, would you be ready? I’ll explain what that entails in a bit. But would you be ready - not prepped in the natural, but prepared in your spirit and soul? It’s so important for us all to take inventory of ourselves. Is there unforgiveness towards anyone? Bitterness in your heart? Truthfully disappointed in God and haven’t had an honest conversation with Him about it - about how life has turned out?…

Capture a moment of normal
Don’t forget what’s important to see
Those ones very dear that surround you
The ones in your own family

With a world that is in so much turmoil
Easy to forget to believe
That there’s still a few moments of normal
Still a few moments to breathe

So grab that grandbaby and hold her
Bounce that toddler around on your knee
Call a truce with your sister
And treasure your own family

Time is a gift swiftly fleeing
So quickly it runs away
So capture a moment of normal
And by all means, ENJOY THE DAY!!!

RED ROBIN

March 2, 2021

So our Pastor preached a sermon on generosity and how God owns all that we have.  His point was not money for the church ….but allowing God to use us.

Later in the day my husband and I were going for a ride in the country to get ice cream.  The place was jam packed and we decided to head into town.  We were going to another ice cream store and then we passed a Red Robin restaurant.  I had never eaten there and it was new.  So we turned the car around and went in.

As we sat eating, I noticed a young man and his two kids eating behind us.  I got this thought.  Why don’t you pay for their meal.  As we ate,  it came to me several times until I knew it was the Holy Spirit.  I told my husband and he agreed we should absolutely do it.  So I looked in my purse and  had a tract entitled “True Love” , about God’s love for us.  I put it on their table and said rather plainly  “God just spoke to us to pay for your meal, so the waitress is going to bring your money back”   Then I said to this young man  “I’m proud of you for spending time with your kids and I think God is too!!!”   His eyes lit up with joy. He said, “this is my son’s birthday dinner, he wanted to come here!”

We paid for the meal and they came to the table to thank us.  He said, my daughter said to me earlier  “this is gonna be a good day”

How cool is that.  God orchestrated that whole thing!!! They left,  I hope,  knowing that God “sees” them.  And we pray that God will complete what He began in them.
