EASTER – He Thought You Were Worth It – original poetry

Slowly, with purpose
He walked through the streets
Each step He was taking
Your life He could see

Breathing in pain
Sores on His back
He suffered the shame
But His heart was intact

He knew that His mission
It must be fulfilled
There was no other way
Except Calvary’s hill

Looking at faces
His mind must have swirled
He kept the joy before Him
Of saving the world

Strong and determined
As His life blood poured out
He knew it was worth it
He ignored hell’s loud shout

As He hung on the cross
He gave out a cry
As He paid for our sins
Tears streamed from His eyes

Love kept Him there
We’ll never know
How bad was His suffering
The three days He was gone

Paying our penalty
As He hung on the cross
He knew what it took
To redeem all the lost

So now it’s our choice
To believe and receive
The beautiful gift
For which He did bleed

HEAVEN’S KISS – Poetry

Across the starry night He calls
Laying out myriads of bright glowing balls
Singing His story the birds make their way
Flying in glory if only to say

Hello I love you
Can you hear Me call
I made all this for you
I gave you My all

Fields of bright flowers colored array
Bright sunshine’s dew drop painting the day
Smells so desirous catching your breath
Hoping you’ll look up and know I’ve not left

Cuddly fur balls of all different size
For you to enjoy and to tickle your eyes
Loving affection creation does show
I so want to show you all I do know

Hello I love you
Can you hear Me call
I made all this for you
I gave you My all

Saving the best, I sent you My Son
To show you my heartbeat, He and I are One
Was hoping you’d accept Him there’s no other way
I made Him the door so you could come to Me and stay

SECRETS MAKE THE DIFFERENCE IN SEEKING INTIMACY WITH GOD…

In my experience and opinion…..there’s nothing like a deed done in secret that only your Creator, heavenly Father, Lord and Savior sees…..in my 37 years of having a relationship with God…..nothing has brought me closer than a secret.

MY COCOON – Poetry

You are my cocoon
No matter what’s around
You are wrapped about me
Your presence peace surrounds

Loud the voices shouting
Wanting us to fear
But our place is next to you
Always drawing near

Focused on Your majesty
Your kingdom it will come
No matter what happens here and now
My thoughts are on Your throne

But sometimes I’m a weakling
It’s then my heart does know
I reach out my hand to You
Instead You help me grow

Crazy things may happen
But the end of it You’ve told
We can trust what’s in Your book
You’ve known from times of old

You are my cocoon
No matter what’s around
I know that I can trust You
Your love for me is sound

TECHNOLOGY AND THE BIBLE – SOME THINGS TO PONDER

With the dawn of a new level of technology we are currently living in, it is interesting to ponder the scriptures that are given to us in Revelation as God showed the Apostle John would happen in the end times. Until this time much of it didn’t make sense, but now in light of what is possible we would be wise to revisit these texts. You can read this portion of scripture and think about it…..
Revelation 13;14-17  “And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived.  He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.  He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads,  and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”

Notice…..an image was given power and “breath” (as in make to seem alive) and that image was able to speak and make demands. Granted power….can also mean given authority.

This sounds an awful like an “artificial intelligence” AI that we know they are developing. With algorithms that make it seem like it is thinking. And now computers “speak” and answer your questions. Think about ‘Siri” and artificial intelligence that can pretty much can answer any question you ask it. And they have given it a personality.

Then jump to the last part. No one will be able to buy and sell with out the mark or number of the beast. Ask yourself why? They already have RFID chips that can be implanted into the body that can contain all kinds of info. But the point I am making is that it speaks of a technology that was not even in existence a few decades ago. Yet the Apostle John saw it in a vision 2000 years ago as God …who knows the end from the beginning… showed it to him.

Here is another serious scripture concerning the mark…..

Revelation 13:8
“All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”

Only those born again will be able to resist this tyranny….

This is a strong warning about taking that mark….

Revelation 14:9, 10 “ Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand,  he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. “

Anyway…..my point for all of this is to show that the technology to fulfill these end time scriptures is in place and increasing. If you have been following the news…..even India has gone to a cashless society…..moving the world closer to this reality. (you can google that).

Technology can be good…..but at some point it will cross the line and become in the control of evil. Will we recognize that day when it comes? I hope so…..
