CLAY – God’s Artwork

The “Potter and clay” relationship is not always pleasant….but when He is finished…..even after the heat of the kiln….we will be a shining piece of original pottery, with the fingerprint of God as the signature Artist!

Isaiah 64:8 “But now, O Lord, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter; And all we are the work of Your hand.”
Psalm 33:8,9 “Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the people of the world revere Him. For He spoke, and it came to be; He commanded, and it stood firm.”
Of all the things in the earth to fear…..and there are many……it is the fear of the Lord that we need to cling to. He is in control and He will surround us. Our thoughts need to be on pleasing Him, then the other kinds of fear we can be relieved of.
Ecclesiastes 12:13 “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all.”
Matthew 10:28-29 “And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will.”
Now there will be many other kinds of fear, but when we keep our proper honor and reverence of God and obey His commandments as a child would obey his or her Father….the other fear….the kind that causes torment is not intended for us.
1 John 4:18
“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.”
WE WILL SEE FEAR INCREASING IN THESE DAYS…
Luke 21:25-27 “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
BUT WE CAN REST IN THE SHADOW OF HIS PROTECTIVE WINGS
“I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.” (Psalm 34:4)
John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
Isaiah 41:10 “Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
We need to reverence and fear the Almighty God……trusting in His goodness for us, and let all the other fears go, knowing that He has us in the palm of His hand.
It’s not easy to do……I struggle with it too. Memorizing the scriptures on the subject helps to let His truth reign in our thoughts. Hope this has been a blessing to you.
The only person we are supposed to fear is God…..a healthy ‘you’re God and I’m not” kind of fear!

A SERIOUS DISCUSSION ABOUT WITCHCRAFT AND THE CHURCH
A few weeks ago I was tuning in to a church that we had often watched online. What I feel to be a very alive and spiritual Bible based church. There was a visiting evangelist from Russia speaking and it was a powerful message. Then at the end he paused and listened to the Lord to see what he should do and openly said “that’s unusual” in response to what he heard the Lord tell him to do next. He called for anyone in a the audience to come forward that had ever been involved in the occult/witchcraft. Even simple things like ouija boards, tarot cards, and astrology, and ‘white” witchcraft. Now reluctantly many came forward and it took a while because either they didn’t think it was a problem or they were afraid/ashamed to admit it.

So you woke up today
And everything is not perfect
And it just seems like another day
Another mundane day to get through
But the saying is true
“Lift up your head for your redemption draws near”
There is a whole other flow to life
A life in the spirit
That is not lived in the “seen” realm
You are a living soul
And a soul greatly loved by God
He thinks of you every day
He loves and longs for you every day too
Not a guilt trip
Just the facts
He created you for a relationship with Him
Companionship that He relates it to a bride and groom
Love hurts, I think we all know that
When it is not reciprocated
I know God feels that
But He waits patiently and actively
Waiting for us to look up
Look to Him and open the doors of our hearts
Such treasures He has hidden for us to find
He waits for our will to choose

It’s all on purpose! Here’s the scripture showing that we were all appointed and chosen to live in this time and in the places that we live:
Acts 17:26,27 ” And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us;”
If you’ve ever thought that you were a mistake or born at the wrong time in the wrong place…..here is your peace. You were born in the exact place and time you were created for. Some of us have much to overcome, but as we find Christ and overcome, our reward will be great in heaven.
Let the Word set you free…..you were pre appointed to live in this time and place and God has a destiny just created for you!!! Hope you have a great day!!

The devil is really good about bringing up our past and rubbing our noses in it and he is even better at spinning the lie that you can’t turn things around in your life. BUT God is good at helping us get back up on our feet and He delights to see us come through things and reach the other side. Check out these great scriptures:
Psalm 25:6,7 “Remember, O lord, Your tender mercies and Your loving kindnesses, For they are from of old. Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions, according to Your mercy remember me. For Your goodness sake, Oh Lord.”
Isaiah 54:8
“With a little wrath I hid My face from you for a moment;
But with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you,”
Says the Lord, your Redeemer.”
There is always a fresh start with Jesus…His mercies are new every morning. Never buy into the lie that you have gone too far or that God could not forgive you, or that you have gone too far into darkness to be set free. That’s a lie. God is not that way. But don’t wait…..call on Him while He may be found. Let Him nourish your broken heart back into sweet fellowship with Him. “He is near to the broken hearted” Stop being so hard on yourself too. Forgiving yourself can be really hard…..but God wants you to do just that and remember that He casts our sins away as far as the east is to the west. I pray that you will allow Him to love you…..allow Him back in to that tender place with you and let Him heal your wounds, because that is exactly what He wants to do. Rom. 8:31 “If God is FOR US, who can be against us?” Take what He is offering! Forgiveness!!
