This Hebrew year of 5777….which means the “clashing of swords” means that their will be conflict…..but “fret not” Stay close to God and He will keep you. Lean into and cling to HIs promises. They are for you! And He loves you!! Rom. 3:31 ” If God is For us, who can be against us.

And gnashes at him with his teeth.
The Lord laughs at him,
For He sees that his day is coming.
The wicked have drawn the sword
And have bent their bow,

THE FEAR OF GOD WILL RETURN TO THIS LAND
Hebrews 12:25-29 See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.
Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire.

In my dreams
I hear You call
I see the writing
On the wall
Mysteries
Unfold to me
Showing me
What soon will be
Sometimes stories
Of my past
Explains things that
I could not grasp
Forward, backward
All between
You talk to me Lord
In my dreams
Showing me
Just how You feel
Bringing forth
Some things so real
Until I know You
I can’t see
Your loving kindness
Good thoughts towards me
You are my Father
Love so deep
Denied in life
But meant to be
Pour out Your Spirit
In this hour
So hungry hearts
Can know Your power
Intimacy
With God complete
As we humble
At Your feet
Pure hearts cry
Will sure be met
Promises
Will still be kept
Just like Joseph
In the prison groaned
God had a plan
To soon be shown
Hold on now
The hour is here
Things unknown
Will soon be clear
Rain from heaven
Holy fire
Will soon burn up
All vain desire
Return again
To your first love
Feel His closeness
From above

Rare Recommendation

I rarely recommend books or teachers…..but in truth, next to the Bible….this is the most helpful and eye-opening book I’ve ever read. I was crushed when it went out of print a few decades ago and I had lent it out and never got it back. But recently it was picked up and re-published and it is just as helpful today as it was then. ‘God Meant It For Good” by R.T. Kendall It gave me a perspective and understanding of how God uses tragedies in our lives and it helped me to see His hand at work in a new way. Many things in my life made sense after I read this book. It was life changing to me and gave me peace, even about the bad things that I had gone through. Anyway…..I recommend it highly to all seekers of truth. It is Biblically based and indeed about the life of Joseph in the Bible …..but in such a way and depth I have never heard from another teacher. A THOUGHT FOR THE DAY – VINDICATION

VINDICATION—— it means “to have been proved right when one has been right all along” Vindication means that your name has been cleared, that the accusations were false and ill-posed —what they said about you was not true – and your name is completely restored.
Not only has God said that He will do that for us….in His time, and in His way. But God Himself will be vindicated of all the false accusations that Satan and deceived people have leveled against Him.
How many accusations have we heard from Gods own creation? Egged on by Satan….
How can a loving God let this happen, if He’s all powerful, why didn’t He stop this or that? But one day…..every eye shall see…”Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess to God” (Romans 14:11)
It will all make sense some day, when the blinders come off. All will know that God truly is a God that loves justice and mercy. His kingdom is a kingdom of justice. It’s the “time” factor that messes most people up. Look at Joseph…..it took over 15 years for him to be vindicated. But he was vindicated in such a spectacular way that even he couldn’t have imagined it. (Genesis 37-47)
God sees, and God hears….and we must trust His plan. His kingdom IS a kingdom of justice, where wickedness is punished and goodness is rewarded. Which is why in His mercy….He sent Jesus to help us out and give us a way to escape our just punishment for those that confess their sins and repent. Forgiveness can only be attained through what Jesus legally purchased for us. His ways are higher than ours so we may not see it from our earthly perspective. That is where trust comes in.
Be at peace…..it will all make sense some day!

Overcome the obstacles
Sweep the dust off the rug
We must keep pressing forward
By the power of His blood
So easy to lay down
But you’re important don’t you know
God made you as you are
And you have something to show
Continue as a Lighthouse
Sitting high upon a hill
Giving warning to the ships
That are speeding towards such peril
Time is such a precious thing
Not something we can waste
Can’t lick our wounds forever
Get up now and set the pace
Jump into the river
There’s surprises ‘round the bend
You’ll be glad you kept on moving
As the Light opens again

Silver and gold
Have I none
But words I give to you
In hopes that they may fill your soul
Lift you from the blues
In hopes that something
Said in there
Meets a need you have
To know that someone truly cares
And makes your heart feel glad
This world can be
A lonely place
Seasons come and go
The eyes of God are watching you
And of your plight He knows
So take these words
As sent to you
From God our Father’s love
He truly has His mind on you
These words are love’s peace dove
So close your eyes
Breathe in, breathe out
Feel His presence now
Embrace this little gift to you
And say a prayer out loud
He’s eager and He’s waiting
To enter in your heart
And lift the heavy burdens there
To give you a new start
Take a simple leap of faith
Say a prayer out loud
You’ll never know what’s waiting there
Til faith unveils that shroud
Don’t have to be religious
That’s not what it’s about
To get to know Creator
Let His light come out
Take a simple leap of faith
What have you got to lose?
He’s standing here with open arms

Look Into The Mystery – Poetry

Peering into the unseen world
Mysteries profound
No one knows just what they are
But we can hear the sound
Sound of Spirit whispers fine
Sweet and quiet love
Coming from the throne of God
To bring us our new home
Been prepared since days of old
Waiting to arrive
On this planets surface here
New Jerusalem is alive
All in plain sight in Your book
But hidden to the ones
That never open up their hearts
It’s only for Your sons
Sons and daughters waiting here
Clicking away the time
Anxiously awaiting
While we do what we’re assigned
Bride and groom the dances swirl
Imagining the day
When we can join the veil removed
Freedom to see Your face when we pray
Looking into Your eyes of love
No longer far away
Eternity’s mysteries calling us
We’re waiting for that Day
