End Time Prophesy

What assignment has God given to you? We all have them…..as the body of Christ….whether it’s to pray every day for your kids classroom and school, your neighborhood, your city, or go into places and share Christ. “God show us our assignments for the coming year!!”

Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
This is not meant to be a passive year! It can’t be! It’s the Hebrew year of 5777, or from what I’ve been told the clashing of swords. This is a year we must “press” into the things we are called to do. The assignments God gives us. Obediences to His Holy Spirit. May God grant us clarity!

ANGEL AT THE TIME CLOCK – True Story

Now I fully believed that we have angels working with us.  I had just never seen one with wings on the earth, until that day…

I went to work in the small little town of Greenville, North Carolina. I worked at a place called S. and S. Cafeteria and it was located in the towns only mall. I drove the ten or fifteen miles to work with the radio on trying to get ready for another mundane day. I arrived on time and began walking down the hallway towards the time clock to punch in.

Out of the blue, for a moment,  my eyes were opened to the unseen realm.  The spirit realm. Lo and behold right before my eyes, standing beside the time clock, was a beautiful giant angel.  He was tall, maybe ten feet or more, and glistened like gold.  He had wings that reached to the ceiling and was so majestic looking.  It was not a frightening experience, but it startled me because it was so unexpected. Then quickly, the vision closed, but I knew he was still there. I was aware of what the Bible teaches about the gifts of the Holy Spirit located in chapter 12 of the book of 1 Corinthians. That at times when the Holy Spirit desires to, He can open your eyes so that you can see what is in the spirit realm, it’s called “discerning of spirits”, and that is what I had experienced.

All day long I wondered what the Angel was there for.  Was he there to prevent an accident?  A robbery?  My mind danced around like crazy with curiosity!  Finally, I took my lunch break and sat down at the table with my Bible.  As I was eating and reading, a young man came and sat down abruptly across from me and looked me square in the eye.  He said, “I heard you were a Christian”  I said, “Yes I am.”

He excitedly said, “What must I do to get saved?”   Well, here it was!  I knew the Angel was there to see to it that this event took place.  There is no greater miracle than the new birth, to become what the Bible calls “born again”. When someone accepts Christ and has their name written in the Book of Life. After showing him some scripture and briefly explaining salvation, I prayed with the young man at the table to receive Jesus as his Lord.   I also asked him to meet me after work to talk about the baptism in the Holy Spirit which he was excited to do! I figured he needed the whole package!

The young man did meet me in the parking lot after work and received the baptism.  It was incredible. I felt like I was living in the Book of Acts! The Holy Spirit descended on him and he was filled with God’s presence and spoke in tongues right there in the parking lot! Never think God is limited to a church for a holy experience to take place! The whole earth is filled with His glory!

I knew that this had been a divine appointment. A special one because God allowed me to see the presence of the Angel, although they are surrounding us in the spirit realm all the time, especially if we are believers. This man’s life was now transformed.  I don’t remember his name, but I saw him a year or so later and he said he was going to Bible school to be a minister. He wanted to be a Pastor.  I knew God was taking good care of him and it was a blessing to have been allowed to take part in his journey.
How cool to think of the angels involvement in our lives.  All going on around us in the unseen realm! They are around you too! The more we pray and walk in faith….the more they are activated around us!

Hebrews 13:2 “Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.”

1 Corinthians 12:7-11 “ But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all:  for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit,  to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit,  to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.  But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.”

The smallest acts of obedience are so cool in God’s eyes

“The smallest act of obedience to the promptings of the Holy Spirit, can FAR outweigh the acts of apparent goodness in the eyes of man.”

The Beauty In The Struggle

Why, oh why Lord
Do we struggle so?
I asked Him one day
When I was feeling quite low

His answer surprised me
As He said with a smile
Come and I’ll tell you child,
Sit with me awhile

Look at the caterpillar crawling about
It goes into hiding before it comes out
It makes a cocoon as I’ve taught it to do
And waits until spring when formation is through

Now when it is ready
It struggles about
To get free from it’s prison
To finally come out

It’s there in the struggle
It’s wings find their strength
It would not be ready
This process it brings

Brings about forming
All of it’s parts
Like muscles get stronger
With the beating of the heart

If the process was shortened
On the ground it would lie
Free from it’s prison
Yet there it would die

The wings must be ready
To catch on the breeze
Strengthened by struggle
And now that it’s free

Flying in beauty
Above all the earth
Fulfilling it’s purpose
It’s reason for birth

So it is with my children
They’re growing inside
Their struggle for freedom
Prepares them to fly

So don’t be discouraged
You will overcome
Despise not the small things
My will’s being done

Trust me in all things
My leading is right
I know what you need child
So you can take flight

Narcissistic Failure – Poetry

Who really can you trust?
Most are selfish souls
Looking out just for themselves
And reaching for their goals

Who has your interest best at heart?
In this self absorbing sphere
While the world is spinning ‘round
Who gives a flip you’re here

Who would sacrifice?
Or give up anything
Isn’t that insanity
Most want the finer things

Who will forget your past?
It’s oh so fun to them
To bring up faults and failures
And run you in the ground

Who will really love you?
No one that I know
It isn’t in the nature of man
Our God we need to know

Who has proven who He is?
No questions left unsaid
He laid His life upon a cross
For you He died and bled

Who is faithful ‘til the end
Promises fulfilled
You can count on all He said
His love is in His will

Overcome the obstacles
Sweep the dust off the rug
We must keep pressing forward
By the power of His blood

So easy to lay down
But you’re important don’t you know
God made you as you are
And you have something to show

Continue as a Lighthouse
Sitting high upon a hill
Giving warning to the ships
That are speeding towards such peril

Time is such a precious thing
Not something we can waste
Can’t lick our wounds forever
Get up now and set the pace

Jump into the river
There’s surprises ‘round the bend
You’ll be glad you kept on moving
As the Light opens again
